For those who have never been to benin city, the capital of Edo state in Nigeria, you may not be very familiar with the second hand goods market, however it is a thriving center of commerce where people of all walks of life troop to. Popularly called aloko, bend down and ogbele, these clothes are highly sought after especially among the female folk who take advantage of the cheaper prices to look cool and chick. Yours faithfully was there on a fact finding mission and presents you these pictures. NB- I came close to being lynched when the customers found out i was taking pictures as the consumers like their secrecy. Thumbs up to my guardian angel for a timely intervention.
